LARGE SILVER PLATED PUNCH BOWL. A good late Victorian multipurpose (punch / fruit / rose) bowl by Henry Hodson Plante & Co. Of simple classic design with round plinth, gadrooned body and two handles, this bowl is ideal for punch or fruit. It's quite a large bowl and has good capacity.
Date: Late Victorian circa 1880. Condition: Great condition for the year. Hardly any plate loss, one rub on the body and a spot on the top of each handle. A few tarnish spots here and there.
Good condition on the inside. Diameter: 24 cm (9 1/2). Length: 31.5 cm (12 3/8) including handles. Height: 15.2 cm (6) plinth to rim. Weight: 1227 g (2.7 lb).
