Huge Old Sheffield Plate Serving Tray Georgian Silver Plated Antique
An exceptionally large and wide Old Sheffield Plate serving tray with chased surface, raised on large ornate legs. Its bears a 1939 dated Surrey repository label to underside from when it was safely stored during WW2. 30 inch across the handles, 66cm not including handles.
Condition: Structurally fine, no surface dents, some surface marks from use and some scuffing to surface at centre. Some slight wear & residual tarnish to rims, handles and feet. The teaset shown is for size comparisons is a'full' size one, just to show how massive this is! Identifying Marks: No makers marks.
