This listing is for a set of 3 antique, circa 1850s, English silverplate serving spoons in their original case by James Dixon & Sons. The spoons are silverplate with a gold vermeil patina. The two solid spoons measure 8 inches or 20.3 cm long, the single pierced spoon is 6 3/4 inches or 17 cm long. The spoons feature a bust of a man on the top of the twisted handles. By the bowls is a figural scene of a jester standing between two columns. The two solid bowl spoons have engraved scrolling details on the front and back and the smaller spoon has a pierced bowl.

They are marked "JD&S", this for James Dixon & Sons circa 1850s. The fitted leather case is lined with blue satin on the cover and blue velvet around the spoons. The spoons and case are in very good condition having some wear to the leather on the top of the case and wear to the gold vermeil patina on the spoons.
