Hi, this is an antique set of Bracia Henneberg flatware, service for 6, that I believe was made before 1920 in Poland. In my research I found the company had different names on their silver and silverplate items over the years but Henneberg was the family name and Bracia means brothers in Polish. The country of origin was not on any of the pieces but it was not required on items of that era. There is a signature on the knives it is Bracia Henneberg and below that is in script "nieldzewne" I believe or it might be "nierdzewne".The set is 24 pieces including teaspoon, fork, knife with stainless blade, and a soup spoon that is as large as a serving spoon in modern sets. If it's not a dinner set maybe it's a dessert set? The sizes are: teaspoon 5 1/2", fork7". Soup spoon 8 1/4", and the knife is 81/2". The chest measures 13 1/2x10 3/4x21/4.
The out side of the chest has a type of textured covering on it and the inside of the chest is fabulous soft satin trimmed in braid and it is fitted for the pieces. There are a couple of the fitted pieces that have come loose but are still functionable.
The chest has a few small nicks 2 on top and a couple on the sides... But very small and a scuff or two that might buff out...Overall it's in very good to excellent condition considering it's age.
