These rare and desirable antique silver plated nutcrackers which are in the form of a parrot's head date from the early 20th century and are by Asprey & Co of London so are of excellent quality. These novelty nutcrackers are a good heavy weight, nicely cast and are stamped Asprey to the handle. They are also stamped with the registered design number of 598487 which date these to 1913.
