Antique Abercrombie & Fitch Silver Plate Co. Lamp Cigar Lighter Tray & Ash Tray

Up for sale is an Antique Abercrombie & Fitch New York Silver Plate Co. Lamp Cigar Lighter with 2 separate compartments with matching lids for ashes or matches. The bottom is stamped with "Abercrombie & Fitch Co New York" and has a makers mark which appears to be 3 leaves bound with a ribbon. I have attached photos of the markings as well as black and white digital scans.

Overall size of tray 6.5" x 5.2" x 2.0. Lighter measures 1.7" tall and a diameter of 1.7" at widest part.

Tray lid size (including handles) 4.5" x 2.7". Tray lid without handles 2.8" x 1.8". The last photo has the measurements superimposed on an image of the piece.

Overall nice condition with notable flaws beyond age and use. Both lids have been vigorously cleaned whereby removing some silver plate particularly plate silver plate has also been rubbed off on the bottom of the tray. General superficial scratches, tarnish and dirt. Lighter has not been tested but the lid does easily unscrew.
