DESCRIPTION Antique Victorian silver plate animal figure inkwell.Dating to October 19th 1876 this handsome inkwell depicts a crowned lion rampant with his paws upon an upright shield sitting upon a round plinth. The head of the lion tilts back to reveal the hidden inkwell in the body.

CONDITION In good working condition considering age with wear to the patina throughout in loss of plating. The original ceramic inkwell is still present but the edge is broken off (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
